MISSION

Luke 6:38 Foundation's mandate is changing lives and reminding the less fortunate that God still knows their name. This mandate aims at restoring dignity and self-worth to many people who have lost hope in life. We are taking the concept of 'Ubuntu' to another level.

Not only does this mandate encompass supplying food parcels to the hungry, and clothes to the needy, but also supplying spiritual food through the Word of God for full and complete spiritual nourishment. As we give to others, God gives to us - abundantly, with that 'abundance' we  give back to the community... "give and it shall be give unto you".

When you make your Sunday meal and you take a tin of baked beans to add as a salad on your dish, consider that to someone else, that one tin of baked beans would be supper on its own - for two days.  Your discards are someone's basic need. Our slogan "too blessed to not care" is not a superficial platitude so as to entice, rather, it is a reminder that when we sleep in the warmth of our blankets, start the day with full stomachs and walk tall with shoes on, there is someone somewhere who can only dream of having a blanket, having school shoes or even having at least one meal a day. In one of our outreaches a boy of about 11 years old said he would like school shoes for Christmas. We consider school shoes as a basic necessity, he considers them as a luxury that he can only hope to receive as a Christmas gift.

Do not just commend us on giving, be a giver yourself, all it takes is a willing heart.

Choose to make a difference. We are in the business of changing lives….

TOO BLESSED TO NOT CARE
